The Inn at Spanish Bay is part of the exclusive Pebble Beach golf resort. Needless to say, John and I fit right in. I'm sure they thought we were there to repair something when we arrived late Saturday night.. The next morning, we took a walk around the grounds after breakfast. The Inn itself is a cluster of attractive, inobtrusive Mission-style buildings surrounded by beautiful, rustic landscaping. |

A series of wooden boardwalks guides you between the buildings and to and from the beach and the golf area. |

We followed this trail down towards the beach. In the morning, people jog and walk their dogs. Needless to say, there were also golfers about. |

Windswept cypress trees are everywhere. A lone cypress out on a rock in the ocean is the resort's mascot. I didn't get to see it, but Linda did. |

Tiny pinkish daisies grew out of the sand along the boardwalk. |

As we reached the shore, a fog was rolling in. |

It's not reallly a swimming beach. |

Another interesting flower that grew along the trail. It was hard to tell what was planted there and what grew on its own. |
