On November 30, John, Linda and I flew from Newark to Miami, then drove across the Everglades to Captiva Island. We returned to the same house we rented last year, arriving in the evening. It was a lot cooler than last year, even though it was the same week.

On Sunday morning, we returned to St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church for Mass. It was raining, so I waited until later in the week to take these pictures. I find this church architecturally interesting, with the elaborate tracery lining the inside walls. It dates from the 1970's but is a lot more aesthetically pleaseing than many churches of that period. All the stained-glass windows depict foliage and wildlife native to the area.

Sunday night, we watched Die Another Day in a theater that was narrower than the plane we flew down on.
